IBCC Awards

 Per the IBCC By-Laws & Code of Ethics, all Honorary Award recipients are first nominated by the President and must be approved by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.

Trisha Dusil Award

Breeder's Cup Award

• This award will be honored to the 4H participant who receives the highest show honors during the show season.  Youth must be a member of the IBCC.
  
• Awarded Yearly.
  

• Awarded to the adult IBCC member with the highest show honors during the show season.
• Awarded Yearly.

Stewardship Award

• May be awarded to an adult IBCC member who has made a significant impact in the area of mentorship to the IBCC youth, advancing the Iowa Blue within youth programs, or through similar youth support.
  
• Awarded no more than once per Presidential term.
  
• This is not a required award, but is left to the President's discretion to nominate.
  

Ransome Bolson Conservation Award

• May be awarded to an IBCC member who has made a significant contribution to the breed.  This may be through the establishment of consistently high quality breeding stock, breed conservation, breed promition, or any other form of significant breed advancement.
• Awarded no more than once per Presidential term.  Not a required award, but left to the President's discretion to nominate.

Honorary Lifetime Membership Award

• May be awarded to an existing IBCC member or an individual who is not an IBCC member. Any individual who is awarded the Honorary Lifetime Membership Award will receive all regular IBCC membership privileges. 
• No limit to the number of individuals awarded this award. Left to the discretion of the President to nominate.
