Photo Galleries (links below) show examples of the four main types of Iowa Blues currently found in flocks.  The Silver and Charcoal varieties represent the color varieties most resembling the original type Iowa Blues (see gallery of historic photos at the bottom of the page).  Iowa Blue varieties are most easily distinguished in chick down color.  Examples of each are found below in the Chick gallery.
